Curious if anyone has done it, and if not, if there is a reason it can't be done?
There was a recent thread where it was suggested that the painted bumpers were different than the chrome ones, but I suspect the thickness and hardness has a lot to do with the chroming process/layers. Thoughts? Thanks! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif) pete |

Back in 2014 I bought a set of early painted bumpers here in the classifieds. I took them to Mark/Tim at Original Customs and they filled holes and straightened them AMAP. They then sent them to Ogden Chrome. $700 each for the chrome job. No problems with fit. Note the rear bumper is from 70-72. ![]() ^ That's what I'm talking about...
