Look at pictures 7 & 8 above the 1st & 2nd round plug hole , the indention in the cross piece looks like a large comma.

yes exactly, this is a 70-72 front panel, they all have the comma. The late ones 73 74 have a larger flat next to the headlight buckets to give an additional support to the bumper guard and padded brace on the back of the 73 74 bumper
Look at pictures 7 & 8 above the 1st & 2nd round plug hole , the indention in the cross piece looks like a large comma. |

OK ok, I thought you were saying that there was something specific about the 72 front latch panel. But now I see you have narrowed it down to a 72 MY by identifying the front latch panel and the retractable seatbelt mount. Pete |
