Hi
This is my first "help" thread on the 914 world (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) I have bought a 914-6 that was previously a very active 914-6 in the USA (called "Wild 6") I need to get the car road legal here in Norway, and the most important thing I need to do is to add a parking brake/hand brake. The car has (I think..) brakes from a 996 turbo. What would be the best option? Add two extra calipers? is it possible to add a more standard parking brake solution with brake pads inside the brake disc? Anybody else out there who has done the job before me, or can point in the best direction? All help is appreciated Thanks Alf K Larsen |

From my build thread, I created a crankarm, welded a pivot and slightly relocated the parking brake cable bracket so the standard cables could be utilized. Been on for 10 years and work great.
