Most of you saw the ABM car for sale a few weeks back. 800 miles later its new home is here in Pleasanton. Exceptional '74 chassis with steel flares. Project car - needs finishing... going to take it slow and assemble things right.
Starting with the interior, then connecting controls, electrical, oil lines, etc. May put LSD transmission in. Will post pictures as I go. Attached thumbnail(s) |

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/agree.gif) Post some ABM 'before' pictures. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/shades.gif) It’s an original ABM with a new paint job post metal flares. The PO’s picts are mostly the motor and parts. When I got it, it was non-opt, non-running, nothing connected, with most of the parts including the interior in boxes. Sad to say it took 4 years but there you go. The PO said it was a Slits motor. It’s a 73.5 7R 2.4 but I have no idea if it has a stock cam or any valve / head work. The carbs are getting it going but it’s sucking gas and power seems to be at 75% at certain points. Pretty looking though with shiny parts! I picked up a zero mile 3.0 but that’s a longer adventure.... I have an opportunity to build a real dream 914.... |
