So, this year I'm headed up to Portland for our National Day of Gluttony. Anyone up for some kind of gathering on the 27th? My folks are out near Hillsborough, but I'm sure I can steal one of their cars and get into Portland itself or somewhere not too awfully far away.
Anybody up for it? Anyone have suggestions about where to meet? (JP?) --DD |

I'll leave it to Craig to firm this up but:
Exit 10, I- 205 is best if coming from the north on 205 (JP, Bruce, Dave Hunt with or without Kevin). Cross over the freeway and you will see a Home Depot. Take the first right and then left into the HD entrance road (I think that is Craig's suggested rendevouz point). It is shorter from Hillsboro, west Portland to take 217 to I-5 south to I-205 and take exit 3. However you could continue on 7 more miles to 10. I could lead from the OR26/217 area if anyone wants to meet up. We would need to be on the way by 9:30 to get to Gary's by 10. |
