hey guys first post here.
so im currently in the middle of doing the front fresh air blower motor and I bought the bosch replacement motor. my problem is I cant get the new motor down into the housing far enough to engage the spring clips to hold it in place. has anyone ever done just the motor replacement? |

Hey, welcome to the world! I did the motor replacement thing about 3 years ago, and recall having to, ah, gently modify the replacement motor to fit. I vaguely recall having to cut some extraneous lugs or mounting tabs off? Compare and contrast the old and new motors carefully to see the differences - calipers can help here - and good luck. Looking back, I took photos of the old motor and wiring, but sadly not of the shiny replacement - so no help posting those here. Be good to have that info documented on the site. - Tony |
