being the cheapskates that my wife and I are, we've been putting off turning on the heater and have just dealt with the cold by using lots of blankets.....finally this morning I said that's enough, we need to turn on the heater to get the chill out of the house...darn furnace won't kick on (IMG:style_emoticons/default/headbang.gif)

with all the cr@p I have in my garage, it's going to take an hour just to get the furnace to do some troubleshooting......

am I the only one that won't turn on the heater until they see frost on the mirrors in the bathrooms??? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Nah. Jamie took our daughter and went to see her grandma last month. As soon as they left I turned off the heater and didn't turn it back on until they came home two weeks later. I figured I was either going to be at the office, in the garage, or in bed the whole time they were gone so why heat the house. Knocked about $40 off the power bill last month which just about paid for all the pizza. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)
