I have a 76 2.0 (owned for 27 years) and it still has all the original stock suspension components/sway bars. The front has been squeaking for years and I’m finally ready to address the issue(s).
Without breaking the bank, what should I order/install. The car has 55k original miles and is only driven during the summer on the streets. Any advice/input greatly appreciated!! |

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/agree.gif), if you are going to tear the front end down to rebuild the A arms it only make sense to rebuild the wear items that exist.
Ball joints & Tie rod ends (Turbo) are 1st on that list. Strut (inserts) are relatively easy can be done anytime and so I wouldn include them in this mix. I see you are (semi) local so if you need some help or advice drop a line (IMG:style_emoticons/default/bye1.gif) |
