It’s not a relay it’s a logic box. Diagrammed on the FWSM wiring schematic.

It’s not a relay it’s a logic box. Diagrammed on the FWSM wiring schematic. In that logic box, there is a relay that controls the starter circuit. So good enough for me. I didn't find it on the diagrams I have which came from Pelican website when they had them there. I only looked at the 72 & 73 diagrams, they just have the starter circuit going from ignition switch to the relay panel in the engine compartment. With diagram is it on? Thanks Jim |

Thanks Jim They started installing that crap in 74. There is a wire in there that comes from the ignition fuse on the fuse panel. Make sure you drop the fuse panel and cut that wire out of the circuit for the ignition. If it gets loose from the plug, it will bounce against ground and cause the car to die randomly. That drove Betty crazy for a while when we were dating. I found it and disconnected it. I have since removed all of that seatbelt interlock crap from her car. Even the bracket on the floor pan was removed. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/ar15.gif) |
