Ok, now that I got the fan back(nice job Ben!). when I took the fan out I spun the alt to loosen the screws so didn't really see how everything fit in there. can't really find anything online, so what is the proper orientation of the alt and the air diverter? TIA

Y'all are making it harder than it has to be.
Just follow the directions in this article: http://www.914world.com/bbs2/index.php?showtopic=10187 That lets you pull the alternator without removing the carbs and fan shroud. Clay |
