Can anyone tell me what the clearance between the inside lip of a 6" or 7" Fuchs and the body is please? My car hasn't arrived yet to measure it myself.

Thanks for the feedback guys, it was the inside lip I was wondering about. I am assembling some BBS RS wheels for my 77 911 which I can't get the exact backspace as a Fuchs, it ends up slightly wider on the inside. My thought was to also bolt them onto the 914 that has 6" Fuchs.
I'm in Brisbane where there are a few more like minded people than your area. What size tyre is fitted to your 7? I have seen images of other cars with 7" Fuchs on the rear that don't look to have had the rear guard pushed out/or pushed out a lot anyway, I assume they are only a 205 width tyre max? Greg |
