Starting to work on my 914, longs likely need to be replaced. I would like to stabilize the frame using the adjustable brace I see some use that is attached To the door opening and has adjustable turn-buckles.
Where can I find some instructions on building them? Tried search and google with no luck. |

I have seen more than a few cars over the last 13 years that had the door gaps screwed up from shrinking metal on this type of job that you are going to do.
Know what you are doing and take it very slow and let the welds cool. Only doing a little at a time. Going back after is a huge mess and you do not want to go there. Bob B (IMG:style_emoticons/default/chair.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/headbang.gif) |

Gotta learn to weld first |
