Hi guys,
I'm getting ready to shoot a 914 for Newbies video about the most common places to find rust. Looking for shots of rusty: Floor pans Sail panels (nasty foam a bonus) Cowl area Rear of trunk Base of firewall Headlight buckets Door sills And any other common areas I forgot to list. The hell hole already has its own episode, so no need for those (and thanks again to all who posted). A pic of a broken rear trunk hinge would be great, too.. If you have some pics you'd like me to include, please upload them to this thread at a decent size. It'll help the greater good. Thanks! Ian |

These are often a problem, passenger side especially
(IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/uploads/post-7199-1223520815.jpg) Always rusting from inside out. A little blemish in mine, a screw driver went right through. ![]() shot of this same one inside, not terrible but very thin at the bottom, close to rusted through ![]() |
