Is the flat spring in this handle intact ? The tip feels very smooth, not broken.
I have two of these handles in 1970 cars and both require a very curious motion to engage and release. I have seen this flat part completly broken off. Is this one intact ? Attached thumbnail(s) |

no but looks bent, the new rod with tension spring are readily available, just not the complete early handbrake assembly
Is the flat spring in this handle intact ? The tip feels very smooth, not broken. I have two of these handles in 1970 cars and both require a very curious motion to engage and release. I have seen this flat part completly broken off. Is this one intact ? |
