In NYC earlier today, you'll see this all over instagram, YouTube, other feeds. Driver (Ben) loses it on city streets, takes out a parked delivery van, obliterates the CGT...then tries to leave the scene while all of the fluids pour out of the carrera, and c/f panels go flying off of the car ! Glad no one was hurt. He was well know for tree and light-pole wrap arounds here in the hills of L.A. Looks like NYC is his habitat of late.

The Ferrari Factory rebuilt that infamous Red (Enzo or F40, I forgot) car that split in 1/2 on PCH years ago...the rich guy and his story "German friend" that was the driver and ran off into the mountains (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)
Howard (RIP) went to the scene the next day and grabbed a piece of heater hose , put it in a decanter box and sold it on eBay ...caused some raised eyebrows ! When the factory finished the car , it retained the oe VIN, but the new owner had it finished in black. With this Mirage cgt, might be tricky to source parts, as Uwe Gemballa is no longer with us, but I'm sure with an open check Porsche could right this car (IMG:style_emoticons/default/aktion035.gif) |

I just want the drivetrain. It will fit! The CGT makes a great donor to the 914 cause. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/evilgrin.gif) |
