I own a transmission shop in Lancaster, PA and several 911's. I am looking to buy a well sorted 914 conversion powered by Porsche 6, Subaru, or might consider a rotary or GM 6 cylinder. My preference would be a car that is well sorted and running well. I might consider a car with engine out (porsche only), as I have a 3.0 which I built with 964 cam grind, and cam and rockers hardwelded. This was a cost no object build where I invested 10 K in parts and machine work to have a motor thar was better than new. I just never installed it in anything. Let me know your thoughts. I am looking for a 20K or less car, but may have some wiggle room. No $40000 garage queens, please.

20k for a sorted conversion car is going to be tight. No Porsche 6's will fit in that price, Possibly a non turbo subaru or SBC. They pop up every now and then but get snatched up pretty quick. Good luck!
