HiI think they did fit CN36. I know they were fitted it to other Porsche (912 & 911) from 1968 through the 1970s, and i think into the '80s. I have made a short film about 914 tyres https://youtu.be/Xc5Nx3aqo9k The current Pirelli CN36 is N homologated by Porsche as their recomended tyre. the XAS is a 1965 tyre, also N homologated. there is a back to back tyre test on he CN36 and other tyres in this size at the bottom of this web page https://www.longstonetyres.co.uk/classic-ca...orsche/911.html The 165Sr15 XZX Micheln is Brilliant and i would encourage people to fit it to a Beetle but the Pirelli and the XAS are sports car tyres, and have a much more structured carcass. |
