I am working on a top-end rebuild and the bottom tins do not fit the new cylinder. So now the tins do not fit, very frustrating.

Do you think I should:
1. Modify the bottom tins to fit?
2. Delete the bottom tin because the new pistons will not need them because they are made out of better materials.
3. Try to find a kit to solve the issue

My guess is if the bottom tins do not fit I am going to have additional issues as I finish the rebuild. As always thank you for your advice.

Common problem if your using aftermarket cylinders. You must modify it to fit. Ran in to this problem building my 2056 with biral fiins.
