I am trying to figure out how to remove speedo from instrument panel 1975 US model 914.
I need to repair odometer and have the instructions from a 911 viewpoint which starts with pulling out the speedo... but the 914 odometer connection looks different ??? Attached thumbnail(s) |

I pull the tach out first to be able to get your hand behind the speedo and unscrew the nut on the cable. I agree no need to pull the whole cluster. And take a picture of the connections to remember where they go. |
