My six project I am back to getting parts to make it a runner. I read an post here I think about a cable from Patrick Motorsports that allows you to not run the bell crank and linkage. The engine in me would prefer to get ride of the rubgoldbergesk contraption that makes up the 914-6 throttle linkage.
Yes I have the factory version, and the Rich Johnson version, what can I say I like options. I think it is this one has anyone had success with this cable? |

I run the original set-up on my 914/6 vintage race car and never one issue in 11 seasons (IMG:style_emoticons/default/agree.gif) really expensive part (PMS tax ?) the original system with good linkages and a cable roller like 914rubber sell ,works pretty well for me,found the a lot of ball cups worn out so replaced them...makes big difference also. |
