I just read an article that Porsche is selling all stock 911 crankcase from 1984 to 1998 . It said they are selling at porsches dealers. I wish I had some extra cash to stock pile some.

I mean who wouldn't want a brand new engine case? If the price was more reasonable, like $2,500 they would sell like pan cakes on Sunday morning. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/chowtime.gif)

I’m surprised Porsche isn’t charging more.
Guys spend $3-4K on machining their 40 year old mag cases and $4-6k to buy used 3.2 cases. These are brand new.
