Just removed my outer rocker panels in search of rust. Take a look at what I found!
Kinda learning as I go here. Is this usual to find this much junk in the rockers? It's been 1 year exactly on the project. I've met some amazing people and can't believe how much I have learned. Actually, the rockers (side valences) were and should be installed with 1/8 in aluminum pop rivets which drill out easily to remove the valence. The threshold plates above the valence were and should be installed with plastic rivets (black for the later cars) which can be removed and reused. |
