I've got a car in the shop that I'm finishing a 6 conversion on.
I seem to remember someone here making a cable type throttle linkage. I've used Rich Johnson's before, and have a kit here, but looking for an easier way. Thanks in advance! |

The whole logic of the carb stock(-ish) linkage is to keep the cable in as straight line as possible. Once you start making the cable turn tight corners is when you start into binding issues.

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/agree.gif) There are reasons the factory had a bell crank. My 2.7 CIS comes up using a 4-cyl cable. It routes very similar to any L-Jet or D-Jet, but I might still swap it for a bell crank system. |
