Car dolly recoomendation? Options

Thinking about getting a set of wheel dollies.

I had some HF cheapos awhile back, they worked but had cast iron wheels and left scratches on the garage floor. Have seen some with what look like a rubber wheel but concerned they might flat spot.

Interested in something simple and low tech, but well built and roll around easy. Not interested in the fancy ones with onboard hydraulics.

I second the EZ car lift rollers. I first purchased a set of tradional car dolly's. I went with a "ball bearing" one, having had a non ball bearing set. Not much better. Still difficult to move with only one person. Any little dirt causes the wheels to skid. I sold them and went with an EZ Car lift found used for $900. I purchased he casters. Rolls very easy. In fact, don't lean agains he car if he casers aren' locked. No solution isn't without pros and cons. A con of the EZ is he cost. Also, the castors seem to interfere slightly with 911's tires. Haven't tried lifting conversely on a 911 though.

I have a 914-6 that I only drive once a month or so, but I would drive it more often if it were easier for me to get it in and out of my garage.

Due to the size of my garage and my wife's car that I also put in the garage, I have to park the 914 sideways right up next to the garage side wall. I do this by removing my wife's car, backing the 914 up close to the garage side wall, turning off the engine and then getting out and by using the steering wheel, hand push the car back and forth, until I have the 914 parked almost touching the garage wall all along the 914's right side.

It looks from your picture like the EZ Car Lift with dolly wheels might help me avoid all the work I go through now to park my 914.

Can you tell me if you can roll your EZ Car Lift with its optional caster wheels underneath the 914 or do the castor wheels have to be removed to get the EZ Lift under the car? And then would you have to take the castor wheels back off to get the EZ Lift back out from underneath the car?

Thank you for any information you can impart to me about how I might use an EZ Car Lift to more simply park my 914 in the limited space that I have.
