Had to do this job on my 1st teener with just a pipe wrench, a hammer, and a chisel. Those were the days that made me aspire to get an education and a better job . . . so I could afford better tools.
This time around life is way easier. Soaked with PB blaster for couple days in advance. Baum P280B arrived today. Stupid expensive but sure makes life a breeze. Heavy duty impact resistant. Fit perfectly. Zap with Impact gun. Done. No drama. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/piratenanner.gif) Can't recommend it strongly enough. Retainers undamaged and perfectly reusable so count that as $30-$40 offset toward tool purchase. Deep enough that if the teeth ever get buggered up, there is still meat there that could be faced off on a lathe. |
