From a different thread:
QUOTE QUOTE (Gint @ May 26 2003, 08:24 AM) As for the trailer ramps, the PO of my trailer made some 10' units that work perfect for a 914. Pretty simple design. I can shoot pics later if you'd like me to. Yes, do. I am looking for ramps. I just bought a trailer last weekend. The ramps included are way short. I'm going to go out in a bit and change the connector on my trailer now that I have the brake controller installed. I'll get some pics for you Milt. Here we go. The trailer with the ramps strapped down to the top of it. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/members/ginter/trailer_sold.jpg) Stock ramp storage. I think they're like 7.5 feet long. Ladder like. A royal &*^%(&^ to push a non-running car up these things. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/members/ginter/ramp_storage.jpg) The ramps hook onto this rail on the back of the trailer. Pretty standard stuff I think. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/members/ginter/ramp_rail.jpg) Homemade ramps by PO. 2"x10"x10' pressure treated with 2 inch angle and box steel. Hey thanks for the input. I may need to do something later if I end up with a track 914.
I posted pics for Milt more than anything else. This trailer/ramp setup work well for my 914, but it's not a track car. it is pretty low, but... |
