I was able to find a glove box in good shape from another member. Overall it is great shape it just seems to have the expected 45 years of dust on it. Anyone have any ideas on how to clean the flocking without damaging it?

I've got a bag of left over flocking I can loan you. Is the glove box still in the car?
Procedure: Lightly sand and clean the inside. Lay down a thick layer of paint with a brush. Waft in the flocking with a squeeze bottle. Let the paint dry with the flocking adhered to it. Remove any loose flocking. Finished result is better than new. See my build thread. |
