Hi all.
Wondering if any Canadians can guide me in the direction of getting specific parts for a '73 1.7L. Looks like I may need to replace the front control arms (both sides) with the bushings - may as well do the front shocks - full suspension (front and rear). I have a mechanic (my brother-in-law) and he's suggesting I get all the parts first and he can put them all in so I am trying to source them out locally rather than ship them from the states. Worst case I will but hoping someone can recommend (for a smooth street ride) which shocks I should go with? I saw this kit at Autoatlanta and wondering if it will give me everything I need minus the control arms ofcourse: http://www.autoatlanta.com/Porsche-914-Sto...-PN-BEK914.html Any guidance would be highly appreciated. Thank you! |

I have a front & rear set of used Bilstein I could be persuaded to sell. Plus a lot of stuff from several parted out cars.

Right now, I've been debating in my head on a few things. Getting the car looked over by Restoration Design at the end of September. Will let you know by early Oct what is needed so that I could do everything over the winter months. Thanks. |
