My bolts are in pretty bad shape, looks like they have been cut down from unoriginal longer bolts. Some aren't fitting, even with the bumper off.

I am going to lightly tap the nuts and wanto get replacement bolts/rubber biscuit spacers.

Are the 8.8 class m8 x 40mm bolts from the hardware store good enough for temporary use while I order the correct 10.9 class ones? the ones inside it now are 9.8.

Some people use threaded studs to make hanging the bumper easier.

But then they miss out on the fun of single-handed supporting a bumper in place while trying to get a bolt on each side started. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/headbang.gif)
