My bolts are in pretty bad shape, looks like they have been cut down from unoriginal longer bolts. Some aren't fitting, even with the bumper off.

I am going to lightly tap the nuts and wanto get replacement bolts/rubber biscuit spacers.

Are the 8.8 class m8 x 40mm bolts from the hardware store good enough for temporary use while I order the correct 10.9 class ones? the ones inside it now are 9.8.

Threaded studs are the only way to go!

At least for the top two.

I cut screwdriver slots in the studs, then switch them out for bolts after the bumpers are hung.

thats a great idea, especially since they are temporary.
