Hi, need some serious help. See below issues.

1. Cannot get high beams to work and power to the fuse. Low beams are working

2. When the engine is running cant get the retractable lights to come up. When the engine not running, the retractable lights come up and lights work.

Can anyone give me some advice?

Regards

Michael

Coincidentally I was chasing a problem with the relay this week and still have everything opened up. See photos below.

There is no 56"b" on my relay, just 56, which is the power input from the light switch via the red/white wire. The yellow and white (low/high) wires attach to 56a and F. These can be interchanged with no problem since all the relay does is switch back and forth between the two on each pull of the lever. You can test this at the relay by disconnecting the red/yellow control wire from "S" and connecting S to ground momentarily with a jumper. This is all that the column lever switch does. With the lights and key on, you should see +12 from the red/white wire and +12 alternating between yellow and white on each click.

But the other thing you mentioned is that you have power at the relay but not at the fuses. The last photo shows that there are straight connections between the two so if you really are seeing what you describe it could only be a broken wire or bad connection in that short run. Make sure the connection to the top of the fuses are tight.

Hope this helps.

Ron
