I'd like to put in two Corbeau seats (they seem to be the best fit). Any of you put in any Corbeaus (any seats, really)? How did you mount them such that they fit?
I am a 38 waist size...I don't think I need a wide seat. I do have the stock 70 interior, which is still an option to spiff up and put in. TIA Pat |

At one time I had Corbeau seats in my 914. The adapter brackets made the seat sit higher and I had to cut the seat cushion foam in half, so my helmet wouldn't hit the roof. JW at Ottos (RIP) shortened the stock seat bracket so the Corbeau seat could mount to it directly. He then bolted the stock seat bracket directly to the floor. This dramatically improved the height clearance. I still have the mount, but only for the drivers side.
