We have moved to North Carolina and I find myself without a garage. I would appreciate it if anyone has used a cover full time and what brand do you use. Thanks.

I live in California in an area that gets seasonal rainfall. I can't say I've found a car cover I like for storing a car outside. Even the "waterproof" ones don't seem to be, and anyway moisture from condensation accumulates between the cover and the car and things will start to rust and the paint can be marred. I uncover the car when the sun shines to let things dry out.

If you have the room, consider a car canopy that keeps the rain off, and then use a cotton car cover to protect against dust and allow moisture to evaporate.
