Seems that wiper motor needs to replaced as a result of the wiper blade getting caught on the windshield trim and jamming. All happened pretty quickly and was my fault.
Have checked the fuse and wiring and they’re fine so pretty sure it’s the motor. Problem is that there aren’t many 914s in Australia so I can’t find a genuine used one here readily and I need one in a hurry as the car needs registration at the end of the month. Any suggestions? Ive seen new Bosch ones that look like they might work and / or I can get used VW or used 911 wiper motors easily but not sure if they’re an option? Would appreciate any input from those who know what a solution might be. Thanks, Phill |
