Remember all 914's came equipped with rust from the factory. The repair work for this stuff adds up quickly and can easily get into the $5.k range in a blink. Do the doors open and close currently? If so I just may drive it like hell.

…..Do the doors open and close currently? yes, that's just it. longs are solid doors shut wonderfully....no gaps or sagging there are other rust issues, not structural though so yeah, I'd be happy to buy the sheet metal from RD then hand over to the shop. I do have a relationship with the owner....so might be a little easy on me with the cost. and not my main 914; this would be the one I'd drive around town and not care about. ….just don't want it to fold in half. |
