Does anybody know where I can buy the mesh for the engine lid? I am trying to create a GT lid.

Here is one I built from two spares - one as a donor of it's mesh and the other as a donor for the frame (I still have my original with rain tray for winter months). Craig (Cametal) fabricated one after seeing mine, and in my view greatly improved on what I did. He used one solid piece of mesh - I think it has a cleaner look. Also he cut down the diagonal brace and cut large holes in it to reduce weight. It looks real cool and retains more rigidity. I'll try to get him to post a pic. Attached image(s) |
