Odd ball question, in the center console (as well as non equipped cars) there is a small square illuminated indicator for the heater lever, this is on anytime your lights are on.
When installed on the center console it originally had a odd H shaped seal beneath it. Does some one have one or an image they can share? Additionally has anyone ever bothered to alter that circuit so that indicator is illuminated ONLY when the lever is pulled? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) |

Green wire to lever is hot with key on, when pulled is grounded to power the fan circuit.
Black w/blue to lamp is illumination & is already grounded only energized when light switch is pulled. So in theory you could disconnect the the existing Black w/blue & the ground from the lamp, branch a wire from the heater lever hot to the lamp & walla !? Will that little lamp deal with the voltage/amperes? |
