Finally bought two of the rubber bellows that fit onto the rear end of the parking brake cables, next to the calipers. The cables are in place but cannot figure out how on earth to get the bellows over the much larger end clasp - or even the smaller hole on the other end could ever get over the clasp (with the cables in place there isn’t much geometry to assist leverage).
Any tips or tricks to doing this? See pics.   |

I keep KY lube in my toolbox for lubing rubber...stuff.
(It's water-based so it doesn't attack rubber. If you're an adult and you didn't already know this, well...Happy Father's Day!) |
