@wonkipop - An interesting point no doubt. That Messerschmitt that's hanging in the museum is truly original, true. It has the same tires, the same fluids, the same wearable components as when it left the battlefield, but the difference is it will never be airworthy and fly again. It will stay suspended on cables until the museum director decides to move or sell it.
But I do agree if George's 74 stays in a static display, it should be wearing steelies. |
