it seems to be a nice car, though it will need a little work and there are some non-original details I don't like very much:

I know this car! It was on ebay about 6 months ago. Then it was being sold by an ebay “flipper”. He bought it from an older PCA owner in Tennessee. This guy (who was a member of this forum) beat me out in a second ebay auction. He paid around $10000, for this. The first auction didn’t meet the flipper’s reserve of over $12000. More importantly than me knowing this car, Jeff Bowsby and Roy Galan (aka Rouser) know this car. Roy did a presale inspection for me, found rust in the trunk and I think in the engine compartment. Definitely needed a paint job and fuel injector system. Jeff and Roy talked me down from the ledge (of buying this) and 3 months later I found my 73 2.0 low mile, unmolested Orange. Sure am glad things turned out the way they did. I guess with 6 months of ownership, the owner found that the rust was worse than expected. None of the interior “enhancements” were there 6 months ago, I guess that’s the Cajun touch!
laisser le bon rouleau de temps! Michael
