I am trying to come up with the optimum conversion 6
engine for my car. (blown 2.4/4)

The car is basically in GT trim- flares and 7"& 8 " Fuchs with DOT Hoosiers. Cage, cell, fire sys.race seats, harnesses,911 brakes & suspension, street legal

I would like to eventually race HSR or PCA or both.

I have gone through both rule books and it seems that I could run a 2.2/6 in PCA and stay in prepared.

HSR wouls allow up to 2.5L

I guess you can't be competitive in both.

Any comments or suggestions?

Thanks for the info.

I looked at HSR rules.

"914 Porsche must use a 2.5L engine maximum, built on magnesium or 1968 or earlier
aluminum case. The wheels are 7” maximum front and 8” maximum rear. The maximum
bodywork is the 914/6 GT bodywork or the Roadster-style bodywork as described in the
1972 SCCA E-Production Rules. The 914 2.5L is in Class 3K."

This may be the way to go and still race PCA where ever they put me.

I don't want to change the body other than mabe fiberglass parts down the road.

God- I want my car put back together.

Anyway - desision time. Just bought an engine and injection system from Atlanta ships Monday.
