Marc and I kicked around ideas what someone might do with the car. Leaving most of it as preservation, maybe fixing the front fender and headlight covers.
Or do you take the whole thing apart for paint and remove the sail vinyl? The interior is in amazing shape. Very dirty, I couldn't find a crack or popped seam anywhere. A solid detailing would go a long way on this 914. That said, it's a project. I didn't see any dirt piled up around jackstand posts. Ran a borescope as far as I could down the pass long. Everything looked very solid Fun trip and good to see Marc. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/bye1.gif) |
