I looked at the drive by wire throttle bodies shown by Mepstein as well. I was planning on tuning myself vs paying someone to tune. These ITB's looked like a elegant solution for a dual ITB system.
There is some good information from the person who put this system together (and is offering them for sale on Ebay) over on Pelican. The ITB,s are from a Mv Agusta F3 and are pretty inexpensive and being OEM parts should have availability for a long time.
I purchased a set of these ITb,s off ebay for $120 to see about doing some testing( available for sale at same price if anyone is interested). This system on Ebay with manifolds is $2300 without filter parts (build your own) so not inexpensive. I ended up deciding to not go drive by wire as ECU.s and/or secondary controllers to control two drive by wire ITB's are expensive and there would be is a lot of tuning required just to get the ITB's to work correctly. This is not engine tuning but just tuning required for control of drive by wire ITB's.

I should disclose that in my regular job I am a controls engineer with 25+ years experience, so I fully understand the complexity (from looking at the settings needed in the Motec and other software) of the tuning that would go into making these ITB's work correctly
In the end I decided to design a mechanical ITB throttle system realizing that this also will be a pain in the ass to get synced and working properly.
