I figure I will start the build thread. I have the 18 X18 X1 inch plate for the adapter I need to get this sent up to Rick so He can grind it into shape while I get the engine running consistantly (IMG:style_emoticons/default/mueba.gif) I have already sold off some of the 928 parts to fund this thing. I will update this thread as we go along this pathway to fun. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wacko.gif)

Another sharkster! YES!!!!!!
Well, the only good thing to know about 928 engines is all 32V engines are interference engines...lose that belt and it get's real expensive. Euro 16V engines are also interference engines. 16V US spec engines are non-interference...belt breaks and you are ok. In the 16V non-interference engines i'd get an 83-84 4.7L with L-jet. Most HP in the 16V US spec range, easy fuel injection setup. |
