I am starting to reassemble my 1975 2L engine after tearing it apart 20 years ago. As it has been a long while since I started the teardown, I don't remember where and what all the pieces are. It would be awesome if anyone would send/post me a photo showing all the pieces and where they go (of the complete engine tins). Even better if anyone could tell me if a source of aftermarket engine tins can be found.
Thanks in advance, Tom |

There is plenty of old stuff floating around, might need to move the location of the spark plug holes if 1.8 top tin is all that's readily available
Good luck with the build, will she be stock? |

The engine is going to be stock except for minor modifications to 1974 specs (delete air pump from 1975 CA emission). I will look for the parts which have been moved over the years. I have purchased a new cam shaft that's NOS and have put in the stronger con rod bolts. Waiting for Andrade Tabari to modify my valve train to accept 10 mm swivel feet rockers. |
