I am starting to reassemble my 1975 2L engine after tearing it apart 20 years ago. As it has been a long while since I started the teardown, I don't remember where and what all the pieces are. It would be awesome if anyone would send/post me a photo showing all the pieces and where they go (of the complete engine tins). Even better if anyone could tell me if a source of aftermarket engine tins can be found.
Thanks in advance, Tom |

No source for new. Best is to figure out what you have & fill in the missing.
Since many of the parts were shared with the T2 motor there is no need to reproduce them. Unless you have $ to burn & are looking for the Bling effect... I understand that The T4 store has CF units? BTW I just posted this shortly ago to a similar request (IMG:style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) ![]() |

I don't think you can install them with the tubes installed. Often they are just left on the motor. Zach |

Those pieces are what I was looking for and as I recalled they go at the bottom of the cylinders above the pushrod tubes. |

Found a box containing piece #1 and 27 in addition to the alternator and piece of the fuel rail. Attached thumbnail(s) |
