Back to some Tech talk guys!

I bought a 71 roller that came orginally with a 1.7 D jet. I guess the PO found another motor a 1.8 L jet and this is what it came with.

My question is this: Will I have to change anything with the fuel pump, on the late models the pump is up front, with the early models its in the back.
Does anyone know if this is gonna be a plug & play or am I gonna need to do some rewiring.

Thanks for any input guys! (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/flag.gif)

Unless of course the 1.7 doesn't work anymore and the 1.8 does? (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/smile.gif)
