How similar is the 915 tranny and the tranny that comes on 914s? I don't guess we'd be lucky enough for, say, a PhantomGrip device that fits the 915 to fit the 914 tranny.....? http://www.phantomgrip.com/product_lists.p...hp?make=Porsche

From what I picked up from other discussions here on the BBS, the 915 diff comes in 2 types: with a fine spline and a coarse spline.
One of those also fits the 901/914 box (can't remember which one)

Try a search on LSD

The 901 and the early 915 both had coarse spline diffs and can use the same output flanges. But the diffs are not interchangable. Slightly different sized.
