I finally realized why my engine lid flys open bangs the targa top if I don't put one hand on the lid when I pop it open: the rubber stoppers are missing in the hinges.
I looked on 914 Rubber's site but didn't see them based on the item descriptions. Does anybody know where I can buy them? Attached thumbnail(s) ![]() |

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) yep. originals are still in mine. and rock hard. i never let the engine lid fly up unrestrained. put my hand above it when using cable release and open it gently. didn't realise same as trunk stoppers. looks more purely cylindrical in mine. but trunk stoppers probably work just fine. |
