I bought AA's heater blower update kit with the Y splitter and installed it over the weekend. The hose that goes over to the passenger side is very long. I'm interested ins seeing how others have that hose secured as it goes over the engine from the motor to the passenger side.
I'm guessing zip ties are used? My fear is that having it loose and flopping around in the engine bay, it could get sucked into the cooling fan (and it just looks bad). If you have this set up, please kindly share a pic of how you ran that hose from the motor to the passenger side? TYIA |

70-72 cars had the centrally-mounted fan with outlets on the left and right of the housing, just like the 411 did.
73-74 cars had the single-outlet fan off on the left side of the engine bay, with only a single hose connecting to the driver's side heat exchanger. 75-76 cars had the same fan, but had a splitter attached to the outlet of the fan, and had one hose going to each side. --DD |
